Tobin Oldach is a Director of Photography and cinematographer based in Los Angeles, currently expanding his work to London. Born in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and raised between Santa Fe and Encinitas, California, he discovered an early passion for visual storytelling that led him to study cinematography in the Moving Image Arts Program at the College of Santa Fe.

Over the past 25 years, Tobin has built a deep foundation in the camera department, collaborating alongside renowned cinematographers including Greig Fraser, ASC and Claudio Miranda, ASC. This experience helped shape his craft and sharpened his instinct for cinematic language, lighting, and emotionally resonant imagery.

Tobin approaches cinematography as the intersection of art and technical precision — a place where photography, movement, and storytelling converge. His work as a Director of Photography spans narrative shorts, commercials, music videos, and branded content, and he continues to pursue projects that challenge visual norms and connect with audiences on a human level.

As he expands his creative footprint, Tobin is actively open to collaborations in both Los Angeles and London, with a focus on narrative and commercial work that prioritizes strong visual identity and meaningful storytelling.
